Welcome to Williams, AZ, the vibrant gateway to the Grand Canyon!
Nestled on the iconic Historic Route 66, Williams is a charming town bursting with picturesque scenery. Explore its delightful Americana-style shops and restaurants that capture the essence of classic America. Luna got some cute vintage Dr. Pepper bottles for her collection, and for mine, I got pins and keychains. We also got mugs and postcards.
This lively town is also a hotspot for outdoor adventures and family-friendly attractions, including the amazing Bearizona Wildlife Park. We visited in March and had an absolute blast playing in the snow and building a snowman!
Now, I know Arizona is a desert state; however, we do get snow and windy weather up towards Flagstaff and Williams.
Wear clothing that is versatile and allows you to wear layers!
It gets cold in winter!
Speaking of the train Williams, Arizona is where the Grand Railroad Train Station is located. There is also the Grand Train Station hotel near the train station. Other airbrb and hotels are also located in town.
The next morning it snowed. Noah was the first one up and woke up everyone, saying, "Snowball Fight."
The kids had an amazing snowball fight at the Hotel parking lot! They even made a small snowman with the snow.
